| About the Socials: The socials are very informal, and consist of a cash bar, with free appetizers, and typically a drink special or two. The dress is typically smart casual, however some people come in suits, if they are coming directly from work, and others come in jeans with sandals. Typically 100+ people show up, however it varies from month to month. The gathering starts at 6PM, and lasts until 9PM, however the group is at its largest from 7-8.30. The people at the socials tend to be very friendly, and you will see groups of people talking. The majority of the people that come are men, however there are a large number of women on the mailing list, and the number of women that come varies from month to month. There is no cover charge, and if you want to sit down for dinner, its available and optional. If you want, bring some frinds, its a very open and inviting atmosphere, and its open to everyone - women, men, old, young. |
